Individual project research (online hate)

For the Individual project's research, I would like to focus on speech hate and troll. Actually, they are not the same. I found a real case said that Hate speech can become a Humanitarian disaster, and the crisis from online go to offline.

About the research, we can see that Social media is a combustion aid. Facebook, twitter, youtube have a hate speech policy, but they cannot effectively prevent the dissemination of hate speech.

So I would like to focus on how social media control our speech, and how to deal with this crisis once we encounter hate speech.
